Mr. Mallery received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2024, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with honors, from Washington University in St. Louis in 2021. Mr. Mallery is admitted to practice in both federal and state courts in California.

Experience

 

Mr. Mallery served as a Student Director for the Clemency Project at the University of Minnesota where he filed state and federal clemency petitions on behalf of incarcerated clients. Mr. Mallery was named a University of Minnesota Human Rights Fellow while serving as a Law Clerk for the American Civil Liberties Union of Missouri, where he advocated for the rights of children and the incarcerated. Mr. Mallery also spent a year as a Law Clerk for the National Labor Relations Board in Minneapolis, where he investigated and prosecuted unfair labor practice charges.
